On 21st of September, with the Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) initiative, Azerbaijan Hotel Association (AHA) met with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources representatives. The main topic of the meeting was the “The Global Tourism Plastics Initiative” project organized by UNWTO.
The ministry representatives informed about their ongoing projects such as “Bir damci”, “Təmiz Ölkəm”, battery recycling, and others.
AHA will further cooperate with the ministry through the “Sustainability” Working Group where projects such as food waste, recycling, eco-labeling, and bioenergy will be discussed.
