On the 5th of May, AHA Executive team and representatives of the member hotels attended the presentation of Tourism Information System (data.tourism.gov.az) which is a "state-business" and "business-business" platform and the country's unified state information system in the field of tourism.
Chairman of the State Tourism Agency, Fuad Naghiyev addressed the participants via video message and noted that the Agency's main policy is aimed at forming a reliable and specialized tourism industry based on the principles of healthy competition and quality of services.
The main purpose of the system is to increase the competitiveness of the tourism sector, collect and transmit accurate information about the tourism sector and its resources, improve the quality of travel services provided in the country, and support the branding process and corporate development of business entities.
The presentation was attended by more than 100 industry representatives from the tourism agencies, hotels and also tour guides.
